Good morning, Mark!
I am besides myself with joy every time I look at my new car (now nicknamed "Silver Queen"). Seeing it yesterday for the first time under the canopy almost took my breath away and this addition to my life has now erased all of the trauma that enveloped me after I had the accident with "Old Red" on May 11th.
The car handles and rides like a dream and I have you and David Duncan to thank for all the efforts you expended in my behalf. I was so sorry David could not be present when I took delivery of "Silver Queen" because he really went over and beyond the call of duty to find exactly the car I wanted. We had a long phone conversation about it this morning. However, I do not want to diminish the role Oscar Morales played yesterday in helping me with the paperwork involved and for going out with me to test drive the car. He was so very nice to me and went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. He also explained quite a few of the "bells and whistles" that came with the car, downloaded the contents of my cell phone into the Sync system, and much more. And, of course, it was "deja vu all over again" with Lindsay Friedman back at the dealership and handling the leasing paperwork for me. She's a real treasure!!
It has been drizzling this morning and although I have to go out in a while I am reluctant to do so because I don't want the new car to get wet!! Silly, isn't it?
I thank you and am so very grateful for taking time out of your busy days to meet with me on more than one occasion and to make sure I was well taken care of, just as you've done in past years. This time was a little more special and I am pleased with the discounts you provided off the original cost of the car. Loyalty begets loyalty, I guess!!

As is typically the case, upon a first visit of a new car, there are a few things to correct or get guidance on. We had a very short list of items that needed attention. I wanted to report that Duke, Al Poincot, and Mark Wheeler were fantastic at addressing and ensuring our Ford Edge was in tip-top shape. We really appreciate the service, understanding, and family-feel at Encinitas Ford. It is not typical in today's day and age of "mega dealerships" but you have proven time and time again why we come back.

I should have gotten this out much earlier. Just wanted to drop you a quick note and thank you and your entire staff for an outstanding experience. I think the fact that we bought two vehicles from Encinitas Ford is a testament to the quality service your team delivers. As for our representative, David Duncan, I can't say enough about him. This was BY FAR the best experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. He was patient, caring and accommodating and I'm glad I had the pleasure of working with him.
As for our vehicles, what can I say? It's my first American car (now cars) in over 20 years! Today, I am PROUD to drive a Ford. My wife is driving the 2010 Explorer which we both absolutely love. Ford has thought of everything with that car. Honestly, I look around that car and there's not one thing I would change. $5,000 less per year than our Mercedes R350 and. hands down. a better car. And my Focus... killer! I can't believe they packed that much into that car. The technology alone is worth the price.

Mr. Al Poiencot was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, personable and an asset to your company! If you give bonus awards, he is deserving of a large one! Though there was a problem between another salesman and his manage regarding the agreed upon purchase price, it was worked out even though I paid more. For the past 40 years I've been buying cars made in Japan because of their reliability and ratings by Consumer Reports. It took me a long time to decide to go back to American cars and I hope this car will be as good if not better than the cars made in Japan so I can continue buying American. I know other people will also be interested in finding out if I made the right choice. The paperwork was also very tedious and took a long time to go through even though the women helping me was very nice.
I am indeed thoroughly enjoying my new Focus. I am delighted to have gotten exactly the car I wanted at a great price. You were fantastic! You obviously genuinely appreciate what makes a vehicle work well and helped me to understand how my car works. (For example, every time I stop at a red light and the car becomes quiet I understand what Ford did to make my car more gas efficient.) I can most certainly tell Ford Motor Company that I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED and can DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Encinitas Ford. I also can say that Al Poiencot made my car buying experience the most informative and pleasant of my entire life. (And I have been around a while.)

Oscar (our salesman), was absolutely fantastic. He showed and treated my husband and I with the greatest respect and worked to ensure our deal was seamless. We initially went to another Ford dealership in the San Diego area with the intent to lease a new 2011 Explorer only to be mistreated and left with an overall bad taste for the dealership. We remained undetered and went down the street to our local dealership (Encinitas Ford) and were immeadiatly treated as family. We eventually had to orderour Explorer due to limited production runs and inventory availability at the time. We were told the order process would take up to 12 weeks. We went ahead with the order and it was pleasant. We were pleased to be informed that our Explorer was available three weeks early. Upon our arrival to the dealership we sat down with Oscar and worked to the previously agreed to terms and conditions of our lease. Oscar went out of his way to streamline the paperwork and walked us through all the features of our new vehicle. On a personal observation, we are so happy with the SYNC/Navigation system that Ford has incorporated, I believe it is a "home run" as far as conveinences in our new Explorer. Thank you. To the Service Department from out of state customer. I recently had a 2008 Escape Hybrid that I was buying inspected by your service department. During the inspection they found the battery fan had been throwing error codes. The service adviser Jeff told me that it was covered by warranty but the part would be on back order. I told him I was driving on Saturday to pickup the vehicle. The parts department rushed the order and service department completed the work on time -- I picked up the vehicle on Saturday.
