Covid-19 Precautions and Additional Services

To: All Encinitas Ford’s Valued Customers

At Encinitas Ford our customers are like family. Our hearts go out to all who have been or will be affected by the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

The safety of our customers is our top priority. As such we have implemented several precautionary measures and are offering additional services.

Precautionary measures:

Sanitation and cleanliness: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection of the dealership utilizing products approved by the EPA for emerging viral pathogens. All workspaces are to be cleaned and disinfected daily. All shared spaces as well as high contact surfaces are to be disinfected multiple times throughout the day.

Ventilation: We are increasing ventilation throughout the dealership by keeping doors and windows open during work hours. HVAC system filtration has been upgraded and will be run at all times. Our shuttle van will keep its windows at least partially open at all times.

Team Member health: All Team Members experiencing any flu-like symptoms must stay home and take advantage of our paid sick leave policy. Managers are required to send home any Team Members showing signs of flu-like symptoms and report such incidences. If any Team Member does not feel well, they must stay home until healthy.

Frequent and thorough hand washing: We are reinforcing with our Team vigilant handwashing before, continuously throughout, and after their shifts. We are also providing hand sanitizer throughout the dealership for customers and team members.

Additional services:

Afterhours drop off and pick up: Customers can drop their vehicle off at the service department after hours. There is a box with envelopes where you will put your information, the vehicle concern or work needed, and the vehicle keys. Our Service Managers will contact you in the morning to discuss your service needs. After the service is performed arrangements can be made with your Service Manager to pick up the vehicle after service hours.

Service pick-up and delivery: For customers who are at a higher risk because of age or serious medical condition will be offered complimentary pick-up and delivery of the vehicle within a 5 mile radius. For all other customers interested in this service you need only to contact one of our Service Coordinators.

Shuttle service: We offer complimentary shuttle service within a radius of 5 miles, please coordinate times with your Service Coordinator.

Sales department delivery: We will deliver any vehicle purchased complimentary within the county of San Diego. There may be a nominal fee for delivery outside of the area depending on the destination. Utilizing Encinitas Ford’s website you can select a vehicle, calculate the payments, and receive a value (range) for your trade in. Additionally, you can easily apply for credit and receive full credit approval. Our sales associates are also available by phone, facetime, skype as well as through live video conferencing.
